How to Be Gluten-Free at School and Work: Join My Live Webinar!

If there's one thing worse than starting a new job or a new school, it's being different from everyone else. And having a dietary need can sometimes feel like you've got a target on your back.

First day at school without worrying about gluten
Your 1st day at school should be fun!

If other people don't truly understand your needs, it can mean going hungry, feeling left out, being frustrated or (worst of all) getting glutened.

I've had jobs where all I was given was an apple when everyone else tucked into a lovely buffet. I've had people laugh at the size of my bread. And I've been stuck in foreign countries with only an egg for breakfast (but responsible for a bus-load of clients).

Work buffets don't have to be a gluten nightmare

So that's why I'm holding a live webinar to help you get through the tricky parts and live a better life at school and work. So whether your little ones are about to go into Reception or you've got a job that means travelling, having to rely on a canteen or using a tiny kitchen with only a kettle, I've plenty of ways to make life easier for yourself without spending half your day worrying about gluten.

Webinar date & time

The webinar's this Wednesday, 4th September, at 7:30 pm (UK time), which gives you 5 days either to become a member or buy a one-off ticket.

Remember: all webinars are free for members.

What I'll be covering (to avoid gluten)

It's time to get out your notepad! I'll be zipping through a wide range of topics so you can confidently navigate the trickier parts of being gluten-free.

  • Getting people to understand the gluten-free diet: if there's anything trickier than getting a gluten-free diet right for yourself, it's making sure others know how to manage it, too. Whether you're 6 or 60, you'll benefit from my tips on getting others to understand the effects of gluten on people with coeliac disease.

  • Communication: you've got better things to worry about than wondering if you'll be glutened. I've got some solid strategies for making sure canteen staff and secretaries totally understand your needs.

  • Planning ahead: sometimes gluten-free options aren't the best (and sadly, some are non-existent) so I'll be showing you ways to put together a hot lunch, even if you've only got a kettle to hand.

  • Avoiding cross-contact: if you're being catered for by people who don't understand the effects of tiny crumbs travelling from toasters or using the same tongs to pick up gluten food and non-gluten items, you'll need my tips to ensure they truly understand the issue.

  • Actually enjoying your food: it's all very well having a gluten-free meal but it's another thing to want to eat it. I've got ideas for you to try that'll have everyone wanting your lunch rather than their own. (Result!)

Special Guest

I'm so excited to announce we'll be having a very important guest indeed - this is someone who's medically trained to support people on gluten-free diets and you won't want to miss their expertise (and the opportunity to ask them questions).

How to Join

This webinar is free to all members, so if you’re not yet a member, now is the perfect time to join.

Remember

Life should be about more than gluten. If you're constantly stressed about what might happen when you're at school or in your job, you're probably not doing your best work. So let's make that a thing of the past. Sign up for the webinar now!
